From the Publishers

Dear Readers,

In looking at the state of our area’s workforce for this issue of Insight, we returned to our partner from last year,1410403-1530054-thumbnail.jpg
Co-Publisher of Insight, David Mullins.
OrlandoJobs.com, and are creating an East/Southeast Employment Showcase – a way for you to get to know the businesses located in, and moving into, the Innovation Way corridor, many of which are high-tech companies. Want to know more about Innovation Way? Then click here for articles and resources dealing with the high-tech corridor.   During the entire month of July, just log on to www.OrlandoJobs.com and you’ll have access to a company’s profile, plus any of their current job openings. In the meantime, check out our Special Employment Section featuring articles detailing:

Be sure to check out our Small Business Profile - a new section detailing a different small business in East/Southeast
Orlando debuting this month. Sara Au recently reviewed her exciting learning experience while  she was in the Leadership In Action program for the
East Orlando Chamber of Commerce.

We are proud to feature UCF’s Graduate School on our cover and are firm in our belief that East Orlando has a great education base feeding our workforce. Students today are educated to stay here, and now the region will host the types of careers that will entice them to stay. Our East/Southeast Employment Showcase will highlight those kinds of jobs.

With summer in full swing, why not try out Wekiwa Springs for a back-to-basics getaway? Finally we’d like to join in the Salute to Dad’s and all the ways they enrich our lives. Reading the submissions from local families was incredibly moving. Happy Father’s Day, especially to Tim & Glenn!

Happy Reading!

Jenn & Dave
