Family Services of Metro Orlando, the lead agency for Community-Based Care in Orange and Osceola counties, served more than 8,500 children and more than 5,000 families, during 2007-08. It placed 194 children in adoptive homes, provided permanent placement for 31 difficult to place youth, and placed more than 48 percent of the children adopted throughout the year with at least one of their siblings, totaling 37 sibling groups adopted.
